Pacific Sun, built in 1986 is the longest servicing ship in the current P&O Cruises Australia fleet.
Previously Pacific Sun was known as Jubilee and was operated by Carnival Cruises before transferring to P&O Cruises Australia and undergoing a major refit, costing $35 million in 2004.
Weighing in at 47,000 gross tons she is classed as a mid-sized ship in modern standards and can accommodate up to 1900 passengers in a total of 1206 cabins.
Pacific Sun measures in at 223.3 metres in length and 28.2 metres in width and offers a wide array of onboard activities. She is a family friendly cruise ship and caters for children with supervised children’s centres available that offer a variety of activities for all ages from 3 to 17.
Onboard Pacific Sun you will also find outdoor pools, whirlpool spas, a fitness centre to keep you active and plenty of duty and tax-free shopping, ideal for those perfect holiday gifts. Other daytime activities include quizzes, dances lessons, a quiet read in the library and even a sports deck to keep you on the top of your game.

At present the 9 deck cruise ship sails on 3-14 night cruises to the South Pacific and Queensland.
