Pacific Sun Revamp Revealed

P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Sun has now revealed her new look with a new child-free Oasis spa and ocean-view gym.
The multi-million dollar revamp has also seen the addition of a new coffee bar as well as a new paint job that has seen Pacific Sun develop a new, classic, all-white design.
Pacific Sun’s top deck has seen the addition of an Oasis retreat and whirlpool spa as well as plenty of areas for passengers to sit back and relax.
The library onboard has also been refurbished so that it can be turned into a luxurious steakhouse at night.
All of the additions and changes to Pacific Sun will provide passengers with a better cruise holiday experience.
Pacific Sun Mini Refit

P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Sun is to dock in Brisbane on Saturday 30th August 2008 to undergo scheduled maintenance work and a mini refit.
The Pacific Sun project that is estimated to be a multi-million dollar project will include essential engineering works and internal refurbishment. The refurbishment will see the addition of an adult’s only Oasis spa and ocean-view gym as well as a complete paint job to create a classic all-white look.
The Pacific Sun mini refit will cause Pacific Sun to remain in the port for 12 days before going on a South Pacific Cruise from 13th September 2008.
P&O Cruises Pacific Sun Hit by Severe Weather

Severe weather conditions have swept across the region affecting P&O Cruises’ Pacific Sun.
The cruise ship was just north of Auckland when it rolled sharply at around 8pm last night after experiencing 7 metre swells and 50 knot winds. Due to this sudden movement that occurred around 40 passengers have been treat onboard by the medical staff.
The cruise ship has been delayed due to the bad weather so will not return to Auckland for at least 24 hours after the expected arrival time.
“I would like to assure the friends and families of our passengers that they are in good care onboard the ship,” a P&O Cruises spokesperson said.
