Joining the P&O Cruises fleet in 2000, Aurora weighs in at 76,152 tons. She was named by HRH The Princess Royal, otherwise known as Princess Anne. Aurora is able to carry 1,870 passengers in 939 cabins. She has 10 decks and is 886 feet long.
According to P&O Cruises, Aurora is a cruise ship with a classic British design; however she is sophisticated with both French chic and has Moorish elegance.
A feature of many cruise ships is the Atrium and Aurora does not disappoint, with her Lalique style Atrium with cascading water creating an area of peace and tranquillity.
